Micro Culture installation transposes the practice of agriculture into the gallery, presenting microgreens as a means of engaging with cultivation on an intimate scale. In an era of unprecedented access to food, often mediated by global supply chains and digital convenience, our direct relationship with land, seasonality, and ecological cycles is increasingly abstracted.
By inviting visitors to participate in the tactile processes of planting, tending, and harvesting, the work foregrounds the embodied and temporal dimensions of food production. The choice of peas is significant: unlike most microgreens, they allow for two successive harvests. The one-month duration of the exhibition mirrors this cycle, creating a closed loop of growth and renewal within the gallery context.
