Preservation Pavilion 2026
2024
Preservation Pavilion was a temporary space built at Balam Balam Place in Naarm to celebrate the end of summer and the abundance that summer provides in preparation for the colder months. We explored the importance of persevering food, architecture, culture, conversations and beyond. Made from borrowed scaffolding, bread crates and clothes and with a roof for sun drying. The pavilion functioned as a structure to preserve, produce, and host public programming over three weeks. Across its program, 17 events brought together 27 creatives to explore preservation through both architectural and gastronomic perspectives.
